    Gets the job done, easy to cut and closes precisely. Cheaper handle with hard plastic. This wire cutter is being use to cut photo-etched material for a plastic mode, it cuts easily through sprue and metal. So far it is keeping its sharpness. The blade is sharp enough from the factory.When closed the cutter doesn’t leave any gaps.The spring resistance is slight higher than another cutter that I have, that is not necessarily a bad thing it is just a characteristic.Only thing to be aware is that the handle is made of hard plastic.     GREAT CLIPPERS AND AN EXCELLENT VALUE If you are like me (a weekend home handyman) you already know how quickly (it seems) your wire cutters and many other tools become dull and rusted. I treat mine regularly with WD40, but, because of the humidity in the Southeastern US, tools left in a shed or garage become rusty and lose their cutting edge, it seems, every year or two.
