    Bought to replace plastic OEM feeder on a Creality Ender 3. This kit included all the required hardware for the replacement. Spring is stiff enough to provide sufficient pressure and gear provides enough traction for excellent filament feed. I’ve even tried several flexible filaments (~90 SHORE hardness), that failed in OEM feeder. This provided enough grip/traction to allow for a bit of retraction on the fixable filament.My only issue , and this is specific to the Ender 3 – the Ender 3…

    Once modified, this extruder works well. The problem is that the small spacer that the arm rides on is the same height as the arm. This means that if you tighten down the spacer to the main extruder body, there is no clearance and the arm cannot move freely.It is easy to fix this by adding a small washer or shim between the spacer and the main extruder body.
